Key Races

Race 7 – SDRA Country Championships Qualifier – This main event will be worth a total of $150,000 in prize money. O’ So Hazy will be the short priced favourite here after having featured in all bar 1 of her 9 starts. She’s had a very measured campaign this time, running just once per month for the last 3 months, picking up a pair of wins prior to her last start third place. Better suited to the slightly shorter sprints but more than capable of winning this. Bulala is in peak form right now, having won both races in his current campaign, however both were by less than half a length. Will be tested at the back end of the race, but has the ability to hold out for a win. Delivered ended his last campaign with a tough win at Cootamundra. He resumed last start on this track and ran second. Will be third up here and is expected to be in the mix.

Betting: O’ So Hazy $3.40; Bulala $4.20; Supplyzing $9.00; Delivered $9.00; Butler Butler $10.00; Danetrille $12.00; Fermanagh Lad $13.00; Lawton Joseph $15.00; Didn’t Even Kiss Me $17.00; Superoo $17.00; Bennelong Dancer $17.00; Chastity Stakes $19.00; Villicana $20.00.
