Golden State: Andrew Bogut; Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala; Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry.
Cleveland: Kevin Love; Tristan Thompson, LeBron James; JR Smith, Kyrie Irving.
There have been 107 regular season games between these sides, with the Warriors leading 56 wins to 51. There have now been 9 playoffs games with Golden State holding a commanding lead, 6 games to 3. Cleveland though won the last contest 120-90.
Golden State dropped a game in the opening 2 rounds of the playoffs against Houston and Portland, before staging a remarkable come-from-behind victory against Oklahoma to win 4-3 in a stunning comeback to clinch the Western Conference and proceed to the Final. They then beat Cleveland 104-89 in Game 1 of the Finals and followed it up with a clinical 110-77 win in Game 2, before receiving the second biggest loss of the year in Game 3.
The Cleveland Cavaliers blitzed both Detroit and Atlanta in four games in the opening two rounds to reach the East Final against Toronto, which they won by 4 games to 2. They were dominated in the opening two games of the Finals, losing by 15 in game one and 33 in game 2, before recording a commanding 120-90 win in Game 3.
Curry v Irving – Curry has been scoring points with consummate ease all season, however he has struggled to have an effect in this Finals series. Irving racked up 30 points in the last game, to Curry’s 19.
The Cavs bounced back in emphatic style in Game 3, winning by 30 points and getting themselves right back into the series. They will be hoping to continue that form here and tie the series.
