Juventus advanced to the finals after dominating their Group games, where they picked up 4 wins and a pair of draws in their 6 matches. They scored 11 goals and conceded just two. In the Round of 16 they beat Porto 2-0 and 1-0, advancing to a quarter final showdown with fellow European powerhouse side Barcelona. Monaco were also the top of their Group, but in far less convincing manner. They had 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, however they only scored 2 more goals than they conceded. Monaco barely scraped through the Round of 16 match up with Manchester City. They lost the first leg 5-3 and won their home match 3-1, advancing on away goals. They squared off against Borussia Dortmund in the quarters, winning both games with an aggregate score of 6-3 which saw them move into the semi’s against powerhouse side Juventus. They lost the first leg 2-0 on home soil.
Dybala v Falcao – A battle of the strikers. Juve only needs one goal to become near unbeatable here, whereas Monaco is going to need at least 2 goals.
